When to go

The activity takes place in the forest and on dirt trails, so winter in the north, from mid-October to mid-February, is the cool and dry period according to the Thai Meteorological Department. It is hotter from February to May, and April is the hottest month of the year, so in those months it is worth considering one of the early departures. The rainy season runs from mid-May to mid-October.

Getting there

  • The drive to the park takes about an hour each way, according to the official website.

Good to know

It is recommended to wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sports shoes. Sandals and flip-flops are not suitable.

It is worth bringing insect repellent and sunscreen.

The ATV route has paved roads and also forest trails, and some parts may be muddy.

On the zipline you must not touch the equipment or adjust it yourself. All adjustments are done by the staff.

About the place

The park has a café and restaurant with a 180-degree panoramic view, and the website describes them as family friendly. According to the park, the course itself offers 360-degree mountain views above the tropical forest canopy.

Before setting out on the course there is a briefing on using the equipment, on correct zipline technique and on fitting the safety gear. The staff fit the equipment, and you may not adjust it yourself. At the end of the activity you change clothes and return the equipment.

The course rules are simple: follow the staff instructions, do not run or jump from the platforms, and touch the cable only once your body has come to a full stop. Riding in pairs on the same cable is allowed only with a staff member.

Before the ATV ride there is instruction and supervised hands-on practice, and the website states that no previous experience is needed. The helmets meet the DOT and CE standards, and the guides are trained in CPR and first aid. The riding route is chosen from several options according to the weather, the road conditions and the riders' ability, and anyone who has ridden an ATV before should say so before booking.
